Here are some shots of the Philco tear down. Fifties refrigerators are build like fifties cars, solid, and made to repair. On the Philco you can pull off the back panel and pull the evaporator right out of the back along with the condenser and compressor all without taking the cooling system apart. I wanted to pull the innner shell and outer shell apart so I could re-insulate between them.
